Who is responsible for your data?
LA PALMERAIE DE L’ATLAS (SARL with a share capital of 250 000 MAD, ICE 000114310000073, RC 68409 (Marrakech)), reachable at contact@palmeraiedelatlas.com or +212 6 62 09 62 54. We comply with Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for guests living in the European Union, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data do we collect?
Only what you enter in the quote and call-back forms: name, email, phone, dates and party details, children’s ages and your message. The site uses no cookies, no advertising and no third-party tracking tools: only an anonymous visitor count, described below, measures traffic. Fonts are hosted on our own server: browsing the site sends no data to Google or any other third party.
Why?
To answer your request, prepare your quote and, if you book, organise your stay. The legal basis is your request (pre-contractual steps) and your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We will never send you a newsletter without your agreement.
Who can see it?
Only the La Palmeraie de l’Atlas reservations team. Your data is never sold, rented or passed on. It passes through our web host (OVH, France) and our email provider, acting as technical processors.
How long do we keep it?
Quote requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted no later than 3 years after our last exchange. Data of guests who have stayed with us is kept for as long as Moroccan accounting and tax rules require.
Visitor statistics
To learn which pages are useful to you, our own server counts page views and contacts (form, clicks on WhatsApp, phone or email), along with the site you came from, your browser language and the type of device. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device. A visitor is recognised for one day only, through an encrypted fingerprint of their IP address and browser whose key changes every day: the IP address cannot be recovered and no visitor can be followed from one day to the next, and these statistics are never linked to your requests. They are shared with no one and deleted after 13 months. If your browser asks not to be tracked (“Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”), your visits are not counted.
Anti-robot protection
To block automated submissions, the forms ask your browser to perform a small invisible calculation, and our server keeps an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself) for 24 hours to limit the number of submissions.
3D virtual tours
The 3D villa tours are provided by Matterport (United States). They only load if you click “Start the 3D tour”: before that click, no data is sent to Matterport. After it, Matterport’s own privacy policy applies (matterport.com/privacy-policy).
Your rights
You may access, correct, object to the processing of, or request the deletion of your data at any time by writing to contact@palmeraiedelatlas.com. You may also contact the CNDP (Morocco’s data protection authority, www.cndp.ma) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.
